How do I post a listing?

① Click the "Post a listing" tab in the menu bar at the top of the site

You need an account on the site to post a listing.

If you have several items to sell, post one listing per item.

② Fill in the form about the equipment you want to sell

Description: give any extra information that could help buyers. The description is also where you should mention any flaws.

Left-handed / right-handed: in fencing, most equipment is made for a specific weapon hand: jackets, grips, gloves, some breeches. If in doubt, check the label carefully. If the item suits both hands (a mask, for instance), select "either".

Standard: remember to state the standard for clothing (350, 800 or 1600 Newtons). It corresponds to a given thickness and level of protection provided by the fabric.

Size: size information matters to potential buyers, whatever the item. Do not forget the size of blades either: they are numbered from 0 to 5.

Condition: - new, if the item has never been used - very good, if the item has been used but has no flaws - good condition, if the item has been used and shows wear, or has minor flaws that are described and shown in the photos and do not affect normal use (a stain, for instance) - poor condition, if the item has flaws and needs repairs before it can be used properly

Photos: you can upload between 1 and 4 pictures of the item (one photo minimum). Try to shoot it from several angles, in good light and good quality. If there are flaws, it is better to show them.

③ Confirm your listing

It will be reviewed and published within 24 hours. You can edit a published listing later from "my account" > "my listings" > "edit".
